Dr. Zoe Brown

Our Story

Dr. Zoe Brown, B.Sc., D.D.S.

A general dentist with over a decade of experience and one operating principle: listen first. Dr. Brown practises comprehensive, evidence-based dentistry — restorative work, root canal therapy, and the preventive care that makes most of the rest unnecessary, with a particular interest in endodontics.

Honest, evidence-based, unhurried

After years in corporate dentistry, Dr. Brown co-founded Distillery Dental Studio to practise the way she believes dentistry should work: relationships before transactions, education before treatment, and clinical evidence before trends. Her approach is comprehensive and deliberately conservative — prevention prioritized, natural teeth preserved wherever possible, and every option explained transparently, so decisions are made with you rather than for you. The goal is never the quick fix; it’s the plan your future self will thank you for.

What she treats

Patients come to Dr. Brown for everything from urgent pain to long-range planning: fillings and restorative dentistry, root canal therapy, extractions and oral surgery, and the preventive care that quietly does the heavy lifting. For patients who’d like the calm built in, she’s also certified in nitrous oxide sedation.

Your first appointment with Dr. Brown

Expect a conversation before an examination. Dr. Brown takes the time to understand your concerns, goals, and dental history before recommending any treatment. Then comes the thorough part: a comprehensive examination with digital X-rays and photographs where needed, an oral cancer screening, and a careful assessment of your teeth, gums, bite, and overall oral health. You leave informed — never sold to.

Beyond the studio

Dr. Brown has volunteered within the community and has travelled to Guatemala to provide dental care to patients in rural and underserved communities — an experience that cemented her belief that good care is a relationship, not a procedure. Outside the studio, she’s an avid runner who spends as much time outdoors as possible with her husband and their three children. Ask her for a trail recommendation; she has opinions.
